Frames for Thomas Kinkade prints

Several months ago I took advantage of a wonderful sale, and bought a series of four pre-matted Thomas Kinkade prints. I love the art of Thomas Kinkade, and the price was so reasonable! I knew this series of prints would be perfect in the living room over the chaise lounge. I was going to photograph all four of them, but as you can see, there was a big furry object in the way and she had absolutely NO intention of moving!

I have been looking for frames for quite a while, but since I really didn't want to spend too much on them I haven't had much luck. However, this past weekend Michael's had a sale offering 50% off all frames and I knew my moment had come! I trotted my little self off to the store, and came back with these wonderful frames that are perfect for the living room--and I only paid $15 apiece for them! These photographs don't capture the coloring of the frames quite accurately--they actually match the wood of the chaise lounge very well.

Ah yes, my big furry art critic coming to investigate.

Here is a close-up of the mats. They are so very pretty. The ivory mats and the dark wood frames will perfectly compliment the ivory upholstery and dark wood of the chaise lounge above which they will hang!

And the prettiest masterpiece of all:

"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1).

Hi Linda, The matted prints are so pretty with your decor. I clicked to enlarge that first picture and could see the pale pink of your wall picks up the flowers and mist in the Kinkade prints. The mats are an unusual shape which is very eye-catching. Those dark, ornate frames are very pretty with your chaise lounge. This will be a lovely addition to your Victorian room.

I love Kincade and these prints and mats are gorgeous...and will be even prettier, once they're in their frames and hung!

oh I like these Linda, what a deal too....I too love Kincaid, there is such a serenity in his pictures, a little heavenly in some ways to me. Does that make sense?
I think you have a furry friend that likes to share the limelight.

Good morning, Linda! I love your matted prints and frames. The matts are so lovely and can't wait to see them put together. Now your little kitty wants you to get them framed too and off that sofa. Your prints and frames are taking up her napping space! lol

Maybe you could frame the cat. No? Bad idea?

Do you know about the "N" in his pictures. I believe it's an N. He has a number at the bottom of each painting. That is the number of "N's" that are drawn within that picture. It's fun to hunt for them. "N" is for the first letter of his wife's first name.

The matting on the prints is so lovely! I adore Thomas Kinkaid and always love seeking the private message he paints to his wife and kids on each piece of artwork. IE Sometimes its his wifes initials carved into a tree, etc.
Quite fun!
